Operating under the direction of Grand Master George Xu, The White Oak Institute is a WACIMA certified organization that provides seminars and peer reviewed literature on the application, health, and wellness benefits of high level internal martial arts such as Tai Chi for the martial arts, health, wellness, and medical communities. 

We present this information in a format that can be directly applied to the client or patient.

This year GM Xu focused on Tai Chi and Hsin Yi (a similar art) and taught:

 

1. Correct physical structure.

2. How to use your entire body to turn potential energy into kinetic energy (ie, chi.)

3. How to spiral the body for maximum efficiency.

4. How to keep all of the joints loose and opened.

5. How to expand and contract the body.
